Flying Officer Benjamin Chapman BEng RAFVR(T)
Ben Chapman joined the ATC in 1991, serving with 150 (City of Oxford) Squadron for 5 years. During his time as a cadet, Chapman achieved the rank of Flight Sergeant, gained his RAF Flying Scholarship and Advanced Glider Training wings, attended summer camps in the UK and Gibraltar, climbed Snowdon and led expedition groups across the Cotswolds, New Forest and the Cairngorms. At the pinnacle of his cadet career, he represented the Corps on the International Air Cadet Exchange visiting the United States in 1996.
He was sponsored through university by the RAF, serving as an Officer Cadet at the Royal Military College of Science and undergoing pilot training with Oxford University Air Squadron at RAF Benson. After graduation he was commissioned on entry to IOT, but left the service in 2000 with a deteriorating knee condition.
Having followed his former Cadet Warrant Officer from City of Oxford Squadron, via Highworth, Lechlaide and Brize Norton Squadrons (as a Service Instructor) to Bicester, he was commissioned in to the Training Branch of the RAFVR in February 2006.
Chapman holds a frozen Airline Transport Pilot Licence, is a qualified flying and aerobatics instructor, and is a member of the Royal Aero Club Air Racing Team. He currently works for RVL Group (formerly part of Air Atlantique) at Coventry Airport flying for HM Coastguard, the Environment Agency and Ordnance Survey.
Officer Cadet Rosemary Robinson BA RAFVR(T)
As an experienced music tutor, Robinson was recruited in to the Air Cadet Organisation as a Civilian Instructor in September 2005 to become the Director of Music at 2507 (Bicester) Squadron, Thames Valley Wing. She transferred to 84 Sqn in July 2008, charged with the task of creating a robust Recruit intake system and training program.
Robinson successfully completed the VR(T) Officer selection process in August 2009, and now holds the rank of Officer Cadet pending completion of Officer Training.
In civilian life, Rosemary is an office administrator for an automotive parts supplier in Leaminton Spa, and is a part-time piano teacher and mature student reading for a Masters Degree in Music Therapy.
Adult Warrant Officer J Parker ATC
Mr Parker is the legend of 84 Squadron, having been a member of staff here for over 35 years - he was awarded a third clasp to his Cadet Forces Medal in September 2009. He is a retired Rolls-Royce engineer where he had decades of experience in the manufacture of gas turbine engines.

Mr Cardus has been involved with the Air Training Corps since joining 84 Squadron as a cadet at the age of 13. He proceeded to work his way through the ranks up to the level of Cadet Warrant Officer.
He is one of our 'reserve' CIs, not regularly attending, but available for extra staff cover when required.

Mr Mohammed is a former Cadet and Officer of 84 Squadron. Following retirement from the RAFVR(T), Mr Mohammad continues to serve the Squadron by running our aircraft modeling projects.
Mr H Webbon
Mr Webbon is a recruit from our Parental ranks! He brings a huge amount of enthusiasm and experience to classes and projects, having recently retired as a senior Captain with British Airways and now working as a flight safety specialist for aviation organisations across the globe.
As Training Officer, he is responsible to the CO for providing a varied and smooth-running(!) Training Programme, and administering the annual classification exams.
