  • Sunday 7th February is ATC Sunday and as this is the 75th year we are invited to attend a service at Coventry Cathedral to mark the occasion. Cadets, Staff, past members, parents are all invited. Service starts 1600hrs.
  • Summer (&Easter) Camps have been released and bids are DUE IN! The RAF Odiham one has already been cancelled but replaced by a week at RAF St Mawgan 27Aug - 3 Sep 16.

January 2016 Training Programme

See below links for the January Training Programme.

Coming up this month:

  • Welcome back, Annual H&S and Fire briefing -COMPLETED
  • Academic Lessons - we're back into lessons season and hope to get all cadets through their next classifications by mid-late April.
  • Sunday 24 January - OPEN MORNING - Bring a Friend to Cadets. We are hosting an open morning for interested new recruits to come and have a go at some of the activities we offer with the Air Cadets. The new intake will then start early Feb.
  • Air Experience Flying - we have 7 places on Sat 30 Jan. Cadets must be 13y3m to apply for a place. Priority will go to those who have not flown before however we do have several slots throughout the year (including some weekday spaces during the holidays) so more opportunities coming up.
January is a pretty solid month of getting back into routine of parades and getting a chunk of the academic lessons completed before the weather improves and other activities are scheduled.

Please note we have extended the Sunday Parades to start at 0930hrs (usual finish of 1230hrs) this is to allow for an extra drill practice for everyone in the lead up to the Wing Competition in April. We will review this again in a few months.
