Flight Lieutenant Rosemary Robinson MA BSc SRAT(M) RAFVR(T)

As an experienced musician, Rosie Robinson was recruited in to the Air Cadet Organisation as a Civilian Instructor in September 2005 to become the Director of Music at 2507 (Bicester) Squadron, Thames Valley Wing. She transferred to 84 Sqn in July 2008, charged with the task of creating a robust Recruit Intake System and training program which is still in place today.
Rosie successfully completed the VR(T) Officer selection process in August 2009, and following the week-long Air Cadets' Officers' Initial Course at the Royal Air Force College Cranwell, cemented her commission in July 2010. Folllowing successful completion of her Senior Officers Course at Cranwell she was promoted to Commanding Officer and Flight Lieutenant in 2016. In civilian life, Rosie is a full-time Music Therapist in Leicestershire, and a part-time piano teacher at home.


Warrant Officer J Parker RAFAC

IC Discipline, Supply Officer, Health and Safety Officer
Mr Parker is the legend of 84 Squadron, having been a member of staff here for over 35 years - he was awarded a third clasp to his Cadet Forces Medal in September 2009, and the Commandants Certificate for Meritorious Service in 2010. He is a retired Rolls-Royce engineer where he had decades of experience in the manufacture of gas turbine engines.


Warrant Officer N Raske RAFAC

Squadron Warrant Officer
IC Discipline, Supply Officer, Health and Safety Officer.
Mr Raske is currently AOIC (Acting Officer In Charge) of 84 Sqn, but passions and qualifications are centred around shooting and fieldcraft. He is also a key member of the Warwickshire & Birmingham shooting and fieldcraft team (WABSAFT).
He works for his family fasteners and fixings business in Hinckley.  He also looks great in a hat and has a dog.


Sergeant K Fairhurst RAFAC

IC Training
Sgt Fairhurst comes from a military background with 12 years service in the Army with the Army Air Corps. With active tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, Sgt Fairhurst brings a wealth of knowledge and life experience to the cadets. He has a keen interest in Shooting both within Cadets and his personal life. He currently works for Highways England as a On Road Traffic Officer.  He's also a Lego & Star Wars geek.


Sergeant P Bielakovski RAFAC

Squadron Supernumberary Senior NCO Sergeant
Uniform and stores liaison.
Sgt Bielakovski served in the RAF as a radar fitter during the 1970s. He is married with 2 sons and 3 grandchildren.
Currently working as a service engineer fixing jukeboxes.  Sgt Bielakovski enjoys reading, model making and listening to rockabilly.






Sergeant A Dudley RAFAC

Drill & Discipline, IC Junior Cadets.
Sgt Dudley joined 84 Sqn as a CI in Feb 2017 and was subsequently promoted to Sgt. He is an ex-cadet of 1344 Sqn (Cardiff) where he excelled at target rifle shooting where he competed at Wing, Region and Corps & Country.  Sgt Dudley joined the RAF at the age of 18. He has a young family, but unfortunately has a weird accent.

Mr M Scott CI RAFAC

Aircraft modelling, Syllabus Instructor (Military Weapon Systems)
Mr Scott joined 2229 Sqn ATC in 1973 as a cadet and left in 1983 as a Civilian Instructor.  In 1980 Mr Scott passed his A&C gliding at RAF Cranwell and obtained his PPL in 1982. He became the assisted crossbow world champion in 2013 (individual and team). Mr Scott holds an HND in Aeromechanical engineering and retired from JLR in 2013.  He has a stick.

Mr A Greenway CI RAFAC

Civilian Instructor (CI)
Syllabus Instructor (Airmanship I & II, Piston Engine Propulsion, Aircraft Handling & Flying Techniques).
Mr Greenway, an ex-84 Sqn cadet, returned to the Sqn in 2015 to write the Sqn history book. Subsequently, he joined as a CI to deliver training subjects.  He is also involved in building a flight simulator from a donated aircraft cockpit. Mr Greenway holds a private pilot's licence and enjoys airshows and photography. He has a beard.


Mr D Saxton CI RAFAC

Civilian Instructor (CI)
Syllabus Instructor (Principles of Flight, Jet Engine Propulsion)
Mr Saxton, an ex-84 Sqn CWO, returned to the Sqn in 2015 to write the Sqn history book. He subsequently joined as a CI to deliver training content subjects.
He is also involved in building a flight simulator from a donated aircraft cockpit. Mr Saxton works for Siemens as Head of Strategy and Business Development.  He is also perfect is every way...like a male Mary Poppins.
